Enter to bid on a LIMITED EDITION of a ERIC WARFIELD signed Commemorative Ticket - Legend Series. During the September 19, 2004 game against the Carolina Panthers, Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Eric Warfield recorded two interceptions, highlighted by a spectacular defensive touchdown. Warfield recorded 43-Yard Interception return touchdown (3rd Quarter): With 3:34 remaining in the third quarter, Warfield intercepted a pass from Panthers quarterback and returned it 43 yards for a touchdown. During the return, he memorably stiff-armed Panthers QB on the 12-yard line to clear his path into the end zone, giving the Chiefs a temporary 17-14 lead.
Earlier in the game, at the 11:55 mark of the second quarter, Warfield intercepted another pass on the right side of the field. This return went for no gain but halted a Carolina drive. In addition to his two forced turnovers, Warfield recorded 5 total tackles (all solo) and 2 passes defended during the game.
Despite his strong defensive performance, the Panthers ultimately won the game 28-17.
